The first Lunch Club of the year was a more intimate affair than usual. While we had plenty of qualifiers (go team!), most were still soaking up the last rays of their holiday breaks, enjoying mini lunch clubs with their families. Flexibility is the name of the game, and we love seeing our team making it their own.
That left Laura and Chipo to kick off the year in style, heading to Luna Lu, a modern Asian fusion restaurant boasting incredible food and equally jaw-dropping views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House.

“Really enjoyed the first lunch club I’ve hosted with Chipo. Even though it had been forecasted to rain on the day, we’ve had the perfect sunny day and having great food on the outside dining area with the harbour view had been amazing. Finishing off the lunch club with 50 minutes Thai body massage has been the perfect way to end the lunch club and the week 😊”
Laura’s first Lunch Club hosting gig turned into a masterclass in mixing great food, great views, and self-care. Honestly, food and a massage? That’s the kind of luxury we could get used to.

“The food was decadent. The company was phenomenal. The massage afterwards was out of this world. Laura’s first time hosting Lunch Club was spectacular. I felt spoilt and luxurious. The evening ended far too early, and time just flew by.”
Chipo summed it up perfectly…decadent, phenomenal, and out of this world. It’s safe to say the bar has been set high for 2025.
Final Thoughts
Luna Lu delivered the goods…delicious food, unbeatable views, and an unforgettable experience. Throw in a post-meal massage, and it’s basically Lunch Club nirvana.
While it was a smaller gathering this time around, it’s clear Laura and Chipo made the most of it. Cheers to great food, great company, and starting the year off on the right note (and with very relaxed shoulders).
