Senior Data Engineer (Fabric/Azure) Daily are Contract role.

Respected Australian finance organization sees an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a 6-month contract to drive forward a large Data Transformation project.

Opportunity:

As the Senior Data Engineer you will be collaborating with a wider project team to establish the modern lakehouse data platform using Microsoft Fabric, ingesting validating and reporting on high value client data.

This is an interesting & varied role which will involve, working with architects and technology teams on the implementation of a modern tech stack in Azure for data analytics, aggregation and storage of data, data feeds to downstream systems, multiple data solutions will be required.

This is a central role which will allow you to make a huge impact!

Key Experience Needed:

Proven experience building finance data building lakehouses, azure data integrations and warehouses,
Extremely strong SQL
2+ years’ experience with Azure cloud development building ETL's and Data Warehouses, Storage, Functions, Datafactory, and operational monitoring
Database design of both operational and datawarehouse schemas
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric desired
Excellent communication skills and be highly collaborative.
