The role is to be part of the Connectivity Operations team who are continually shaping and developing how they facilitate and support the network/customer server requirements for our services.
You will need mid tier/senior technical skills in configuring routers/switches, have experience in direct customer interaction and comfortable with Layer 1 troubleshooting.
What you’ll do:
- Monday to Friday role and a second role Tuesday to Saturday
- Rostered hours 7am, 10am and 1pm starts
- Work a hybrid role based at a datacenter 2/3 days a week
- Deliver network infrastructure enabling customers to access financial products from the datacenter or at client premises.
- Configure a router/switch yourself and work with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF to perform troubleshooting.
- Plan, Build and Implement networks both on site and remotely
- Perform network maintenance
- Create and maintain technical documents
- Increase predictive monitoring
You will have experience in:
- You must be Citizen or PR
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Excellent customer service skills
- A service delivery background
Desirable skills:
- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE
- Experience in Service Provider solutions.
