Senior Data Engineer (AWS)

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a prestigious finance organization and collaborate with a friendly team of 6 Data Engineers.

You will play a key role in the team, reporting into the Senior Data Engineering Manager and working closely with the business. The organization is undertaking a large project which will see them migrating from another cloud platform to AWS over the next 18 months this is a key project and there are also lots of other new initiatives that you will have the opportunity to get involved with.

Key Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS technologies
  • Solid experience in designing and implementing scalable & robust data pipelines on the AWS platform
  • 5 years’ experience working with AWS services 
  • Strong programming skills in Python, or Java, and SQL
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

 

Bonus Skills

  • AWS Certified Data Engineer
  • Finance experience
