The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in transforming our clients technology systems, processes, and data management. Reporting to senior stakeholders, you will drive the strategic alignment of our core systems including ERP, HR, Payroll, Inventory Management and beyond, ensuring that operational processes are robust, standardised, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence:
- Assess and refine technical and business processes to improve efficiency and collaboration.
- Standardise operational workflows, moving away from ad hoc practices.
- Strategic Systems Analysis:
- Identify and implement technology and process improvements across the business.
- Develop compelling business cases, articulate project objectives, and define solution scopes.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with senior leaders, SMEs, and external vendors to align solutions with strategic goals.
- Facilitate workshops to uncover needs, challenge assumptions, and offer creative alternatives.
- Governance and Documentation:
- Establish best practices for data ownership and documentation.
- Create polished artifacts, presentation packs, and clear deliverables to senior leadership.
- Change Management:
- Engage teams in adoption of changes, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience:
- Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst (minimum 5 years), preferably within manufacturing, or heavy material industries.
- Strong delivery experience in ERP systems and Enterprise-wide application systems (essential)
- Proven ability to analyse complex data and systems.
- Strong experience creating business cases, artefacts, process maps, solution frameworks and presentation packs.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong clear communication skills and confidence in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to navigate challenges with composure, pushing back when needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a collaborative spirit.
- Readiness to handle curveballs, demonstrating resilience under pressure.
