As a Lending Consultant, you'll play a vital role in supporting brokers through the loan application journey. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-paced environment and is looking to grow their career in the finance industry.
INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Support brokers by managing loan applications from submission to approval stage
- Make outbound calls, with some inbound calls and email communications
- Clarify next steps, request required documentation, and guide brokers through the process
- Action a queue of files daily, including follow-ups and email responses
- Liaise with internal assessors and ensure all submissions meet policy and documentation standards
- Keep applications on track by reviewing and chasing up uploaded documents
- Deliver an exceptional level of service to brokers with quick response times and helpful solutions
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Experience in lending or finance – ideally in a broker support, customer service, or lending-related role
- An understanding of the lending lifecycle, and how loan applications are assessed
- Excellent communication and phone skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks at once
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet service level expectations
